NOTE: Your decorative concrete or exposed aggregate can/may experience whiting/fogging/hazing due to substrate moisture coming to the surface underneath the sealer. This IS NOT controllable and Calcaterra Concrete Repair IS NOT RESPONSIBLE to fix/repair this occurrence should it happen.

Damaged sealer repair

If you have damaged sealer from mixing different sealant bases together, too much sealer build up, or moisture build up from vapor migration you will may need to strip the concrete back down to the pores to release any mosture in the sealant.

Please purchase the “How to resolve moisture build-up” PDF.

NOTE: Be careful using solvents and stripping materials and follow all safety guidelines provided by the manufactures when utilizing these materials.

Protect the surface of your concrete from damage

You can seal the surface of your concrete driveway and walkways to get many years of longevity out of it and also protect the surface from excessive damage caused by water absorption such as cracking, spalling, pitting, freeze thaw damage, salt damage, mold and mildew, and efflorescence.

The proper concrete sealant is the best for getting longevity out of your concrete because it penetrates deep into the surface where it chemically reacts to form a water repellent barrier within the pores, reducing surface water absorption by up to 95%. It will not change the surface traction of the concrete because it works entirely below the surface, within the pores. It does not leave behind a slippery surface film or coating.

Please purchase the “How to use a penetrating sealer on my driveway” PDF.
